Focusing on the training and seminar rooms of companies and social areas like cafes and restaurants, Dot stands out as a chair series with functional solutions in a minimal form.
Dot chair’s seat shell is wood veneered plywood. While the front legs are leaning perpendicular to the floor, back legs have an angular line inclined outwards. Having an optional armrest in its four-legged alternative, the seat can be a wood shell or an upholstered one, according to the user’s choice. Following a fluid line, the back of the shell finalises with an elliptical cut. Having an integrated cushion in the backrest, revealing an iconic look with this detail, also it provides a comfortable back support for the user.
The neat geometric details in the design unveil a chair series of a strong statement with the harmony of different textures of wood surface, metal legs and upholstered fabric, accompanying each other. All of the materials used in the production of the chair; colours, textures and materials preferred by the architect or the user, expose a great coherence within the design language of the space.
